Brand FAQ

Answers to the most common brand questions. For anything else, reach out to the brand or content team from the Overview page.

Colours & Design

Can I use colours outside the brand palette for a one-off campaign?

Not without approval. All campaign visuals should stay within the brand palette. If you have a specific need, bring it to the brand team.

Can I use brand colours in a personal presentation or internal doc?

Yes — using brand colours in internal documents is encouraged and helps maintain consistency.

Do brand colour rules apply to internal tools and dashboards?

Where possible, yes. At minimum, avoid using off-brand colours in anything seen by clients or partners.

What font should I use if I don't have access to the brand font?

Use Inter as the fallback — it's available free on Google Fonts and is close enough for internal use. Never substitute with Arial, Calibri, or other system fonts in external materials.

Copy & Content

Can I write in first person on behalf of the brand?

Yes, in appropriate contexts like social posts or email. Refer to the Content Guidelines for voice and tone direction per brand.

Do content guidelines apply to internal communications?

Spelling, grammar, and punctuation rules apply everywhere. Tone can be more relaxed internally, but clarity and professionalism should always come first.

Who approves copy before it goes live?

Any external-facing copy — website, ads, press, social — must be reviewed before publishing. Contact Adele Richardson for content review.

Co-branding & Partners

Can a partner use our logo on their website or materials?

Only with explicit approval. Direct partners to the brand team to receive the correct logo files and usage guidelines.

How do we appear alongside a partner brand?

Our logo and the partner's logo should be clearly separated with equal visual weight. Never merge, overlap, or alter either logo.

Can I co-brand without approval?

No. All co-branded materials must be approved before production or publication. Contact Damian Plisko to get started.

Approvals & Exceptions

Who do I contact if I need something outside the guidelines?

For brand and design requests, contact Damian Plisko. For content requests, contact Adele Richardson. Or submit an Asana ticket.

How long does brand approval take?

Allow at least 3 business days for standard requests. Flag urgent requests directly to the brand team.

What do I do if I find off-brand content in the wild?

Flag it to the brand team with a link or screenshot. Contact Damian Plisko directly.

Sell Sheet Builder

What is the Sell Sheet Builder?

A built-in tool for creating branded one-pagers for Paystone, NiceJob, and DataCandy. You fill in the sections, preview the result in real time, and export as a PDF or JPEG — no design software needed.

Can I save my work and come back to it?

Not yet — the builder doesn't save between sessions, so closing the tab will lose your progress. We recommend exporting before closing. Draft saving is on the roadmap.

What's the difference between Export PDF and Export JPEG?

PDF is best for sharing digitally or printing — it's crisp at any size. JPEG is better for quick shares in Slack, email, or social. Use PDF as your default unless file size is a constraint.

Can I create sell sheets for all three brands?

Yes. Use the brand tabs at the top of the hub to switch brands — the builder will update colours, logos, and example content for whichever brand is active.

Can I reorder sections in the sell sheet?

Yes. Each section has ↑↓ arrows on the left side of the accordion. Use these to move sections up or down. Hero and Footer are fixed and cannot be moved.

Who should I send the completed sell sheet to for review?

Any external-facing sell sheet should be reviewed before use. Send to Damian Plisko for design sign-off and Adele Richardson for content review.
